  • Corroded and exposed internal structure and armatures

  • Delamination of concrete layer by excessive strength of later repair layer (yellow base)

  • Colour fading from concrete surface / possible polychromy lost


  • Metal treatment: rust removal and application of rust inhibitor (tannic acid) and coating.

  • Removal of yellow concrete layer on the base using a Dremel and Tungsten carbide burr

  • Loss compensation of the base and the figures using flugger or polyfilla with pigments over japanese tissue barrier​​
